457 Business Sponsorship Visa- Temporary Business (Long Stay)

This is the most commonly used program for employers to sponsor overseas workers to work in Australia on a temporary basis.

The 457 business sponsored visa is a three part application process.

Part 1 – Sponsorship – the employer must be approved by the Australian government as an eligible sponsor

Part 2 – Nomination – details of the position to be filled must be provided

Part 3 – Visa application – employee applies for the visa based on the approval of the first two parts

You will be required to provide evidence that you have the skills and experience necessary to complete the specified contract.

This visa will allow you to work for a period of between 1 day and 4 years (depends on your contract).

You will be able to take dependents with you, travel in and out of Australia whenever you need.
