Australian Working Holiday:
Financial Requirements

In order to meet the financial requirements of an Australian Working Holiday Visa, you must have sufficient funds to support yourself through the first part of your holiday. The amount currently considered sufficient funds is £2000 (Around $4800 AUD.)
You will be asked to confirm upon application that you have sufficient funds to fulfil the Australian Working Holiday Visa Financial Requirements. The Australian Government also carry out random spot checks when people arrive in Australia. At this point you could be asked to prove that you have sufficient funds available.
The other visa financial requirement is that you have the means to depart Australia. You may be asked to prove that you have either a return or onward ticket to depart Australia. If you do not have this you must prove that you have the funds available to purchase a travel ticket.
