You must be between 18 – 30 on application (you must not be over 30 when you apply for this visa).

Your Australian working holiday visa permits you to stay for up to 12 months. Your visa permits you to work to subsidise your travel when entering under Australian working holiday visas. However, you may only work for an individual employer for a maximum of 6 months.

If you are wishing to apply for a 2nd Year Working Holiday Visa, please note that you are required to have completed 3 months specified work: in one of these industries:

Plant and animal cultivations
Fishing and Pearling
Tree Framing and Felling
Mining
Construction

2nd Australian Working Holiday Visa Allows :

Stays of up to 12 months
Multi-entry (you may leave and re-enter as often as required whist the visa is valid)
Work for up to 6months with one employer (you can return to work for a former employer as on the 1st Working Holiday)

There is no requirement to complete “Specified Work” on the 2nd Working Holiday.

You must be aged between 18-30 at the time of your application, and hold a valid passport from one of the following countries:

Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan or United Kingdom.

The application process usually takes around 5 working days from receiving all requested information. However, in some situations it may take longer. Once the 2nd Australian working holiday visas have been issued, you have up to 12 months to activate the visa by entering Australia. From the date you enter under a 2nd Australian working holiday visa you may stay in Australia for 12 months. You may leave and re-enter Australia as many times as you wish during this time.
